Lovely house near beach

Beach home
Publié le 6 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a lovely little house. Perfectly sized for me and my dog. The yard is big enough for him to run around and play if he isn't too worn out from being at the beach all day. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located. It's an easy drive or walk to the beach. The front door keypad is wonky and didn't really want to work but the hideakey was fine. Full disclosure, if your dog has a strong prey drive, or is an escape artist, do not leave them off leash in the yard. It's a short fence, and my dog tried to sneak under it. Also, deer are common and they like to eat in a patch of grass just beyond the fence. I enjoyed their company, some dogs might not.

Publié le 13 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwaythe house overall was nice, we did have a problem with the front door lock and did not receive very good response with help to get back in after being gone for the day. the fence needs to be repaired as it is not secure to keep my dog in with several holes. we did enjoy the house and it was stocked with essentials that we needed.

Great Stay
Publié le 8 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay. The home is a nice beach getaway. The beds are comfy. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the beach time and exploring new areas. The only downfalls of our stay is we had our dog with and the backyard is really not safe to even put the dog out for a minute alone. The fence can be easily gone under and we have a 65 pound dog. The neighborhood cats also run all over the property and use the backyard as a litter box. It’s really quite disgusting how much cat poo there is. This has nothing to do with the management team, just making others aware if they have kids or dogs, the backyard is a litter box so be aware. Aside from that, it was a great stay. We would stay again.

Good location & mostly clean

Pros.. Well stocked house, easy check-in / out; looks as described.
Cons: Master bathroom tub is peeling and has extremely poor drainage.
Ceiling fan has an quarter inc of dust visible from a distance. Master bedroom door knob needs replacing (it is clearly missing peaces and a weight was added to the room, placed at the bottom of the door in case you wanted to close the door and it stayed closed with the weight..... REALLY!?)
This was not expected based on a $350/night stay!!!!!

Cute little place, centrally located
Publié le 23 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a cute little property perfect for a family of four centrally located between town and the Grayland beaches and just a few blocks from the grocery store and Blackbeard's Brewery. Some small updates could be made like touch up paint and faucets but nothing that interferes with the stay. It doesn't seem like the owners have actually stayed here, I think a few changes would be made if so. We will definitely stay here again. Note there is no AC, no laundry detergent, teapot or plastic wrap. Cheers

Quiet stay
