We didn’t get any information, no brochures letting us know what was nearby. Very challenging getting around the property with luggage. Had to call the front desk twice for coffee pods, they were never replaced after day one. Housekeeping showed up when we were leaving at 11:30 with coffee pods. I would not recommend this place

This was nightmare when it was supposed to be a celebration of my birthday and anniversary! However, the stay was horrible. We were Charged a resort fee different from what was agreed to in a contracted purchase, the hotel staff thinks it’s ok to vacuum outside the rooms at 1145pm, there was absolutely no parking because the hotel prioritizes its restaurant valet parking and event guests of paying guests. If you are getting married this is a decent spot. The hotel hosted a wedding every night of our stay a the guests were animals. At all hours of the night marching up and down the halls being loud and drinking. Broken beer bottle in the stair wells, and upside down signs of navigating this hotel isn’t hard enough. Good luck getting ice. If you are a family looking for a quiet getaway, don’t bother. This hotel DOES NOT care about the guests. Just about the events and restaurant which was subpar at best!

The hotel was just okay. I’m big on parking and making sure where I stay I do not have to struggle for parking. When I originally booked it appeared that there was plenty of parking, but that was not the case. The hotel host many events (wedding/ restaurant events) and all the parking gets used. They do not offer valet parking and expect guest to walk a far distance to their room.

Stayed on 1st floor, 2 nights. Not a cheap reservation. 1st night didnt get any sleep, people upstairs were so noisy, kept us us until 430am. Told supervisor at front desk and he offered zero compensation, said he would call me to let me know if they could change room forn2nd night and never did. I would expect a refund. Weve stayed there several times and spent tons of $$

Welcoming to pets ($100 non-refundable cleaning fee). Very lovely, helpful staff. Enjoyed the property - rooms and public spaces are a bit dated, but clean - and the windows are operable, which is huge for anyone who loves beautiful, rural fresh air in their room. Gardens look to be outstanding during warm months.

The parking lots are a LONG way from the rooms, and there is no elevator. We schlepped luggage up and down stairs. There was visible water damage near the ceiling, making it appear dirty and dingy. The carpet needed to be steamcleaned or replaced. I will never stay here again.

Check in was smooth, staff were nice, property is huge and pretty, room was very spacious and clean (except the dead lantern fly in the corner by the mini fridge). Only issue we had was that housekeeping knocked on our door at 9pm and 10pm. We told him we didn't request for anything but he came back to knock on our door again even with the do not disturb sign on our door. After calling the front desk, they stopped.

We had large suitcases and were told we had to exit the reception, go outside then down a level. There was no lift and there were 2 sets of stairs down to that level. The floors were squeaky, everything in the next room and above could be heard. Entering the building for the rooms had a distinct musty and mould smell. The condition was terrible for a property that had so much charm. Not recommending this place at all, and I have travelled a bit.

While the exterior of this property is wonderful - truly it is - the interior is older and substantially outdated. The hallways are very hot and the indoor pool needs some updates. The bedroom carpet is wearing out as well. However - I will say I loved our bathroom - big and spacious! I will add that the staff was polite and kind, but we had minimal interaction with them as we did not require much. Overall, I don’t feel it was worth its nightly rate, and I wouldn’t do it again Unless the rates were cheaper.

A beautiful place to say. Very nice staff Reasonable pricing for the lodging, but note: the only food on site is very good but also very expensive. Bring your own water to drink and snacks etc. Also note, lots of up and down getting around, so not a good place for people with mobility issues, though we were able to book a room on the main floor which was very helpufl.
