The room was clean and comfortable, although the extractor in the bathroom was on constantly and quite noisy. The reception and breakfast team were very friendly. Tea and biscuits were replenished in my room daily whcih was nice. I did not eat there in the evening, choosing to walk for 8 minutes and go to a Greek restaurant on the high street that was very good.

When we arrived our booking was seemless until we discovered there was an additional charge of £100 per day for parking. We would like to make a formal complaint about the imposition of this parking charge. As we walked into the building I gave some feedback to your staff about the state of your accessibility rooms. Your colleague thought my feedback was hilarious. Accessibility issues : 1. Disability Markings in car park almost worn out. 2. Path from car park to hotel at too high an angle. 3. At end of path there are two steps neither of which is illuminated or marked in any way. 4. The path from the car park to the hotel is not marked in any way. 5. The thresholds into the hotel are all too high, wide or marked in any way. I would to make a formal complaint about your hotel's compliance with Disability Support Legislation. As always in many hotels, the single rooms are small cramped and out of the way. However, it was very clean and tidy, but dated. The staff and service were great, and that I find is the best part of any hotel.

Extremely noisy airport hotel

We booked this hotel because we were flying from Manchester airport at 4am. They put us on a room above a function room the noise was so loud we could feel the vibrations. We asked to be moved but were told the hotel was full. The function didn’t finish until midnight and the people were banging doors, got virtually no sleep

A comfortable and safe place for a solo female traveler. Rooms clean and inviting. Staff always appear cheerful and are helpful. As a frequent user, I highly recommend the Pinewood. Very close to airport.
