I saw an otter!
Publié le 6 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our second time staying at this property. The back porch is a comfortable place to enjoy the view of the lake. I saw an otter run across the yard one morning. The host is responsive, and the size of the house suits our family. Being close to downtown Winter Garden is also a plus.

Beautiful home and a great location!!

Perfect location
Publié le 30 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery unique home with a beautiful view! It is very close to downtown Winter Garden & about a 10 minute drive to “The Grove” shopping Mecca! We were on our 27th “girls weekend” 5 women over 50 yrs old, which made it nice that there are downstairs sleeping options. The only FYI is that both showers are upstairs. We’ll stay again!

Publié le 23 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property is not at the VRBO level and the online photos are not accurate. This property is not suitable for children. For example, the upstairs railing of the loft overlooking the downstairs is not to code for children and the dock railings are also not to code. The overall cleanliness can be improved; we had issues with the bathroom sinks and porch door locks and unfortunately the handyman was unavailable to address these issues during our stay. The neighborhood is wonderful and convenient to the Winter Garden town.

This is a 5 star updated VRBO property
We have on all platforms numerous 5 star reviews. This guest wanted a free stay & did not want to pay for her stay & made up an issue that the bathroom drain was slow!
Guest waited until last day to raise the issue & then demanded a discount or free stay due to 1 slow drain - totally unrealistic!!
The house is up to code & recently passed a 4 point inspection of the entire property!
Guest mentioned upstairs bathroom had a slow drain but that was on a Sunday & the handyman was able to fix the following day Mon.
We continue to receive great 5 star reviews on all platforms & we look forward to hosting u soon

Lakeside retreat
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayRented this beautiful lakefront home for a family reunion and couldn’t be happier. Top notch location with super A/C to combat the 95 degree summer heat. We spent every morning out on the dock with our morning coffee observing and photographing the amazing wildlife….ospreys, anhingas, great blue herons, great white egrets and even a kingfisher who visited every morning just after sunrise. Quaint downtown Winter Garden is a short walk or drive away. We are already planning another get together for winter/spring of 2024.

Relaxing lakefront property

Peaceful!
Publié le 9 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis house was a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. I’ve stayed closer to the parks in years past, but this house is hands down the way to go even if it’s a little more removed from theme park central. The dock is the perfect place for bird watching and watching sunsets. The deck was comfortable and it was so fun to watch all the wildlife. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back.
