Nice spot for in town

I couldn't get the door to open and had a hard time communicating with VBRO. But it was Nice spot for in town.

Cozy cottage feel…..had everything we need and great ocean view. Dogs were comfortable as well.

It was comfortable. However Internet was poor, could not use tablets, very slow. Front entry deadbolt was messed up, very difficult getting in, code did not work had to call for assistance and open lock box for key that was very hard to use as well. Glass slider track needs attention cleaning and waxing so door will open easier. A few cob webs high on window walls, otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed it, and all the nearby trails we took advantage of.

Winter Beach Stay

The view was beautiful. Needed more amenities like extra blankeys. The silverware was lacking.

Good location and okay communication with property management company (Vacasa), Property management didnt appear to be familiar with the property. Site could use maintenance and upkeep (such as light bulbs burned out in common areas and replenishment of housewares in kitchen). Site could use more safety lighting around the parking lot as well.

Managerial Incompetence

The electronic lock on the door was not working. Fortunately the housekeeping staff was there to help us; she had put a new battery in the lock just that day. It was not responding to our code nor to the housekeeper's code. We called Vacasa, who left me on hold for twenty minutes; when a person finally answered she glibly told me that my code wouldn't work because it wasn't check in time yet. SO: as a customer, I am expected to wait until housekeeping leaves to access a lock that I already know isn't working even for employees? If I had been a complete imbecile I could've followed this advice and not gotten into the room at all. At six o'clock, we got a text message from Vacasa asking: "did you get in?" Fortunately the housekeeping staff took extra time at the end of her day to call her supervisor and access the key box so we could use an old fashioned key. Even with a regular key the lock was hard to use; I noted that the door and frame were in poor condition and the deadbolt housing protruded from the door itself. My wife was very upset by this and suffered a severe attack of Crohn's disease immediately after this occurred, resulting in a less than satisfactory experience. I am totally dissatisfied with Vacasa and their lack of responsiveness to this situation. TEXTING did not solve ANYTHING here and the phone employee's indifferently obtuse response was offensive and insulting to my intelligence. Unsafe

A couple of the rooms don’t have names or room numbers. This makes the check in process confusing. There’s no office or support at the site so no support except by phone. Someone walked into my room multiple times looking for the office which was scary and we left a day early. People kept knocking on our door thinking it was the office.

Great for the price

It’s hard to find an affordable place to stay these days with all of the extra fees that get tacked on. This place was a fair price and an adequate place to stay. The view and location can’t be beat. The interior was a bit shabby but it met our needs, and we were stoked to have a kitchen and a deck. The bed was comfortable, everything worked well. We will definitely be back.
