Publié le 27 avr. 2018 sur Expedia... und mitten in der Natur gelegen ist dieses kleine B&B etwas, für all diejenigen, die Ruhe suchen und die es nicht stört mit dem Auto bis in den nächsten Ort zu fahren. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und angenehme Gesprächspartner. Gerade für mich als Alleinreisende war es sehr schön, das Frühstück gemeinsam einzunehmen und mich über Kanada, Creston und alle möglichen anderen Themen zu unterhalten. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, frisch zubereitet und sättigt lange. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, mit Tisch und Sofa funktional eingerichtet und verfügt über eine kleine Kaffeeecke mit Kühlschrank. Lediglich der Teppichboden und die Einstellung der Dusche, die nicht unbedingt für sehr große Menschen gemacht ist, sind ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sollte es mich mal wieder in die Gegend verschlagen, werde ich sicherlich gerne hierher zurückkommen.

Pour : Location. Beautiful area. Lovely A-frame home, somewhat rustic, but well appointed.
Emplacement : We not take in any local activities. Being a few minutes north of the Canadian-US border, it is quite convenient for early morning start to travel.
The room wasn't 100% clean. The bed was on the hard side. Not a problem for some people. Through no fault of the owners, a Spring snowstorm cut off power during the night, so morning routine was more difficult or impossible. But the owners did the best they could to serve breakfast, and also clean about 8" of fresh snow off our vehicle. They are a nice couple, friendly, but considerate of the guests needs.

The only disappointment was that there was no air conditioning. it was quite hot, and a fan was provided, but i had expected Air conditioning. Otherwise it was an excellent stay. Hosts were lovely and breakfast excellent.

Publié le 28 juill. 2017 sur HotelsWhat an beautiful B&B! We were warmly greeted, and even got a tour of the grounds. Breakfast was great! Would definitely stay again. The only hiccup was our GPS led us astray and took us to some railroad tracks. Just stay on the highway and continue a little past Yahk and you'll see a sign for Kristina B&B about 5-7 minutes later.
