In addition to the well-known sights of the English Garden, we also look at its hidden corners, from the history-steeped beginnings of the park to the weir on the Isar to agricultural use.

We start at the MilchHäusl and visit the Hofgarten, the surfers on the Eisbachwelle and the beer garden at the Chinese Tower. We drive north across the idyllic Kleinhesseloher See through the diverse landscape shapes that characterise this park - after all, one of the oldest and largest in the world. Via the Maffeiwerk our path leads along the Isar to the orangery and the stone bench back to the bike rental.
