Marina D'agadir (Pass by)
Located at one end of the city's large bay, the Agadir Marina, better known as the Agadir Marina, is a symbol of luxury in the Moroccan capital. It is one of the most popular areas for tourists, as it is home to the boats and yachts of Morocco's privileged class. These boats, most of them very long, can be admired from their moorings. The Agadir Marina has 300 berths for boats up to 30 metres long. It is open year-round thanks to its favourable climate. It is located on one of the main shipping routes, making it an ideal destination for boats wishing to stop over, refuel, or visit the city.
Agadir Kasbah
  • 30m
Agadir Oufella, a fortress founded in the 16th century, embodies an extraordinary palette of historical upheavals, Moroccan cultural traditions (Muslim and Hebrew), local musical lyricism, and ancestral spiritual customs. This Kasbah remains Agadir's most visited historical monument. This citadel is the ideal place to admire striking panoramic views with their changing colours, depending on the time of day, and to explore the secrets of authentic Saadian architecture. Within its walls, it shelters the traces and vestiges of a peaceful community life that came to an abrupt end during the 1960 Agadir earthquake. Today, as part of Agadir's urban development programme, a panel of experts has been able to conduct preventive archaeological excavations within the walls in accordance with international standards, as well as restoration and restitution operations to allow visitors to experience the sociocultural sequences of the Kasbah before its destruction... and to
Mosquee Mohamed V
  • 20m
Located in the bustling Quartier Nouveau or New Talborjt, on Kennedy Avenue, the Mohamed V Mosque is the largest in the city. It is located in a very busy area, and its very high minaret, pierced by a myriad of small windows, stands out against the city that stretches out at its feet. As we mentioned, it was built in 1960 following the earthquake. As in practically all Moroccan mosques, entry is not allowed to non-believers, but outside, one can admire, among other things, the abundant ornamentation of its facades, its beautiful horseshoe arch doors, the monumental double staircase that leads to one of the entrances with its turquoise-colored grilles. Inside, the floor is entirely covered with carpet and the arches supported by white columns multiply as far as the eye can see.
Argan Oil Factory
  • 30m
As you might already know, Morocco is famed for producing great argan oil in the regions of Souss Massa. This oil has a lot of benefits, both as a food and as a cosmetic. This oil, which is high in fatty acids and vitamin E, is known for moisturising and energising the skin, and it's especially good for the hair.   In this quick tour, we will drive you from your hotel to the most famous Argan oil Factory in the regions of Agadir, and you will be guided around the factory to see how this oil is produced in an artisanal way, starting from collecting the argan nuts until the final product, and you can buy oil directly from the cooperative for guaranteed quality and prices that are significantly lower than market rates.
Souk al-Ahad Sunday Market
  • 1h 30m
In the heart of the city of Agadir, Souk El Had is one of the legendary places you absolutely must explore during your stay in the pearl of Souss. World-famous, Souk El Had is a vast market bursting with colour and fragrance. Behind its majestic ramparts, you'll find all kinds of products, from contemporary to artisanal, including the famous stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables. With its vibrant atmosphere, Souk El Had is more than just a shopping centre. It's an invitation to immerse yourself in a timeless atmosphere of sound, sights, and smells. Looking for an exceptional shopping experience? Head to Souk El Had!
