Take part in the Premio Cinema Veneto Leone di Vetro® 2026, produced and created by Avanspettacolo Venezia.

The award was established to recognise directors, producers, actors, screenwriters, cinematographers and other artistic and technical professionals connected to Veneto cinema, as well as productions created in the Veneto region.

The aim of the award is not to celebrate a local cinema, but to highlight talents and professionals whose work contributes to a cinema with international relevance and growing ambition.

During the evening, the International Cinema Avanspettacolo Award will also be presented to a personality from Italian or international cinema, regardless of their origin, residence or professional connection with Veneto.

The ceremony will take place during a Gala Dinner at Avanspettacolo Venezia, which will host the reception, entertainment and show for guests and award winners.

The award ceremony will be held on Friday, 11 September 2026, starting from 7:30 PM.

The winners will receive a prestigious Murano glass award, handmade by Venetian master glassmakers, symbolising the connection between the excellence of cinema and the prestige of Venetian craftsmanship.
