Begin with a journey along the south coast and the Ribeira Brava valley, until the first stop at São Vicente. Take a short walk of just under 1km along the coast. An opportunity to stretch your legs, watch the waves and inhale the scent of the ocean.
In the village of Ponta Delgada you can visit the church. The paintings on the ceiling are dazzling.
We continue to São Jorge along a narrow road, crossing the Boaventura & Arco valleys and stop at one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the island. Observe the rural landscape and imagine the challenges that the first settlers had to overcome start a life here.
Time to rest a little in Santana, where you can enjoy lunch and visit the traditional thatched houses.
In Faial, admire the beauty of the northeast coast, from the Penha de Águia promontory to Ponta de São Lourenço peninsula. Be lulled by the sound of the waves and capture this incredible landscape!
