Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Urumqi. Travel by private vehicle to the view-grabbing Heavenly Lake (also called Tianchi Lake). Arrive at the ticket office after a 1.5-hour drive, then take a 40-minute shuttle bus to the side of the steely-blue lake.

Choose from three activities: trek around the wooden walkway, take a deep excursion on a cruise, or take the cable car to Maya Mountain for the eye-catching view of Bogda Peak. After your activities, go down the mountain by shuttle bus, then head back to Urumqi with your private vehicle.
