Fort Sumter National Monument (Pass by)

As we leave Shem Creek you will see Fort Sumter, the famed site where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. This historic fortress sits proudly in the harbour, offering a glimpse into America’s past. Whether you’re a history buff or simply enjoying the ride, seeing Fort Sumter from the water is a powerful reminder of Charleston’s historical significance.

Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge (Pass by)

You’ll pass the towering Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, an iconic cable-stayed bridge that connects city centre Charleston to Mount Pleasant. The bridge’s modern design and towering height make it a striking feature of the city’s landscape, and passing beneath it gives you a true sense of its grandeur. This is one of the most memorable parts of the sail, with incredible views from below that are perfect for photos.

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum (Pass by)

Next, we’ll sail past the massive USS Yorktown, an aircraft carrier that played a key role in World War II.
