Apitherapy is anything related to the healty effect of the bees on human being.
In Asphodel you can breath all products of our bees in one single session. We designed a special bee exhagon to bring you inside the spirit of a true beehive.
We offer one hour apitherapy based on Propolis, honey and wax that contain essential oils, terpenic compounds, resins and other volatile substances which give the typical smell to the hive. These inspired substances can perform a beneficial action on the entire respiratory system according to the principles of aromatherapy, a therapeutic treatment based on natural volatile molecules administered by air.
The volatile compounds are rapidly absorbed by the respiratory mucous membranes and, in addition to acting locally, enter the blood stream without undergoing transformations. They therefore have a more rapid effect compared to medicines administered orally which must instead undergo various modifications in the digestive system and liver, before being absorbed and therefore exerting their effect. The absorption of volatile substances through the mucous membranes is favoured by the small size of these molecules which can also reach extracellular fluids through the blood and lymph.

In addition the effects of this hour inside our “beehive house” will give you an immersion in the Apisound which is called Pink Noise, a sound similar to what once could be heard when the television was not tuned to a channel occupied by a broadcast.
