What you can expect

  • 6:00 am to 6:30 am – We pick up from hotels located in the town centre and then start our tour.
    Our first stop will be in the town of Pampa de Arrieros, which was formerly the entrance to the White City for people arriving by train. Then we head towards Patahuasi.

    Then we'll go to the Piedras de Puruña Forest, where we'll start the hike for about 40 minutes. There we'll be able to see the Piedras Forest, a natural place with bizarre rock formations and stone columns.

    In about an hour, we'll arrive at the Pillones Waterfall, a magnificent place for connecting with nature. We will begin the descent to reach the waterfall in approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival, we will observe the incredible water drops of this impressive waterfall. There, you will have time to take photos and enjoy the incredible surrounding landscape. We will also be able to see shaped rocks produced by water erosion.

    Lunch in Patahuasi (at the passenger's expense).
    Finally, after enjoying this wonderful landscape, we'll begin our return journey to the city.
    5:30 PM – We will arrive in the city of Arequipa and drop you off near Plaza de Armas.
