What you can expect

  • Late autumn brings a special charm to the Balkan mountains: clear air, intense colours, and ridges that seem to touch the sky. We'll walk on the legendary paths of Olympus, the mountain of the gods, and on the lofty peaks of Bulgaria, then let ourselves be pampered by the gentle sun and blue waters of the Aegean Sea. The routes involve large differences in level and technical sections where every step requires attention. But the reward is worth it – vast panoramas over the Balkans, the sensation of floating on Koncheto, reaching the peak of Mytikas – the highest point in Greece – and relaxing on the quiet beaches of the Aegean Sea. A complete experience, dedicated to those who want to experience the mountain and the sea at maximum intensity.

Technically, this adventure brings together three great alpine climbs: Musala (2,925m) and Vihren (2,914m) in Bulgaria, plus Mytikas (2,918m), the highest peak in Greece. We'll cover routes with significant differences in level, exposed passages, and spectacular aerial ridges, such as Koncheto in Pirin, weather and group energy permitting. We also descend to the sea for rest and relaxation on the Aegean coast, with beach, sun, and tasty local food.
