Leaving the beautiful square Saint Nicolas near the port of Bastia we slender slowly in direction of the citadel dating from the 14th/15th century
At first we will go inside of the biggest church of Corsica, the Sanct John the Baptism. Walking long the water of the old port we go up to the
fabulous view over the old port and Terra Vecchia, ancient Porto Cardo. After that we go to the Sanct cross church, the cathedral , the view point of the east cost, and leave this part of the city by the square of the donjon and the palace of the governor. Possibility to visit the museum of the old Genoese town, we go back by visiting Terra Vecchia with his brotherhood’s chapels and the old houses dating of the 17th/18th centuries. We will have also the possibility to taste different Corsican specialities.
