Our adventure begins when we pick you up from your accommodation and start the trip. During our transfer, we'll be on the Pan-American Highway and travel along the famous Avenue of the Volcanoes.
We'll make a technical stop so that you have the opportunity to buy tea and see Ecuadorian handicrafts and the famous Andean ponchos.
After that, we'll enter Cotopaxi National Park, where you'll have a great opportunity to take photos of the flora and fauna of this magical place. Then we'll begin the hike to the “Jose Ribas” shelter, located at 4,864 metres above sea level. We'll walk at a steady pace, enjoying every view and listening to the wind that seems to whisper the history of the Andes.
Next, we'll head to the Limpiopungo Lagoon. This place is like a mirror that reflects the soul of Cotopaxi. We'll take a moment to breathe deeply, and if we're lucky, we'll see the condor fly above us.
And almost at the end, it will be time for the best part of the sightseeing tour: lunch, where we will recharge our batteries and enjoy the magnificent Ecuadorian cuisine.
On the way back, you can close your eyes and remember what you experienced. And if you're wondering… yes, Cotopaxi will also remember that you were here.
