Description

Curacao is an island rich with history, unique attractions, and breath-taking scenery. Enjoy this fun tour as you venture across the island to enjoy amazing views, a trip to a local distillery, and time at the famous Mambo Beach.

Begin your day with a scenic drive past St. Anna Bay, an inlet that divides the capital city Willemstad into two separate regions. Enjoy views of the Riffort, a fort built in 1828 to protect the city that is now home to numerous restaurants and shops.

Next you'll see the unusual Queen Emma Bridge, a beautiful floating pontoon bridge that moves to allow vessels to enter the bay. Your experienced guide will regale you with historical facts about the buildings, forts, and bridges as you drive through the city.

Thereafter, you'll journey across the Queen Juliana Bridge, the highest bridge in the Caribbean and make a stop to take some photos of the panoramic views of the bay. Soon after, you'll arrive at the plantation house Chobolobo for a tour of the liqueur factory, where you can see how authentic Blue Curacao Liqueur is made while enjoying some tasty samples.

The next leg brings you to the Table Mountain and Spanish Water viewpoint, where you can take more photos of the magnificent harbour and hear your guide's telling of the island's discovery. Finish your tour with a visit to Mambo Beach.

This tour sucks!! First they said they came to the hotel to licknus up at 8:15 , we were standing in the front since 8am and no kne came we had to call them to come pick us up.. The tour doesnt even let you get off the bus at the downtown at williamstad to take pictures with the nice building. Then they take you to where the curacao liqueur is made which was the only cool part of the tour. We ended up at Mambo beach where the tour guide or website fail to let us know that it was a private beach and you have to pay for the entrance and also for the beach chairs. The beach is beautiful but better to go on your own :(

Good overview of the island. Our tour guide Leo was very informative and friendly. Mambo beach was a bit overcrowded and not quite the picturesque setting we were expecting but the bars, shops and atmosphere made up for it!
