What you can expect

  • Some places in Brazil you drive to. Morro de São Paulo, you earn — by ferry, by road, and by speedboat, arriving somewhere cars simply don't exist.

Leave Salvador and cross by ferry to Itaparica Island, continue overland towards Valença, then take a final speedboat ride onto Morro's sandy paths. No cars, no rush — just narrow lanes, ocean breeze, and a village that runs on flip-flops and hammocks.

Once there, the island is yours: stretch out on postcard beaches, cool off in warm Atlantic water, or add some adventure with ziplining, horseback riding or a snorkelling trip (optional, paid locally). A live guide travels with you the whole way.

This is the most-booked and most-reviewed way to see Morro de São Paulo from Salvador, trusted by over 125 travellers. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure means you can lock in your island day with zero risk.
