  • We leave Seville and will make a short stop in Carmona and take a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Córdoba, passing beautiful sights along the way. Arrive in the city, once considered the light of the world for its cultural treasures and many libraries, medical schools, and universities.
    Conquered by Muslim armies in the eighth century, it became the capital of the Islamic Emirate and then the Caliphate of Córdoba, flourishing under the second Caliph, Al-Hakam II.
