This temperate paradise showcases cloud forests, lush grasslands, meandering streams, and cascading waterfalls. As you journey through untamed grasslands and misty forests, be on the lookout for diverse wildlife, including exotic birds, elegant sambar deer, and elusive leopards. The park is a botanical marvel, hosting a rich variety of plant species, and it's a designated Important Bird Area with unique avian inhabitants. Situated in Sri Lanka's central highlands, Horton Plains National Park boasts the awe-inspiring sheer cliffs of World's End and the enchanting beauty of Baker's Falls. Great World's End offers a dramatic vertical drop of around 1,200 metres, while Baker's Falls, though not towering, presents captivating views from various angles. On clear days, the summit treats you to a breathtaking vista of the surrounding savannah and forest patches, completing this remarkable adventure.
