What you can expect

  • A private tour to discover all the historical and artistic aspects of Ferrara.
On this tour you will see the Renaissance wonders, the Roman-Gothic Cathedral, the splendid Castello Estense and much more.

Considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance cities in Italy, Ferrara is recognised by Unesco for its rich architectural heritage. With this guided tour you will be accompanied by our certified guide to discover this magnificent city, a must-see for all those who love art, culture, nature and good food. The itinerary begins with a visit to the Palazzo Diamanti and the large green spaces of the Addizione Erculea, the heart of the Renaissance city. Here, you will be guided through the history of the Estensi family, the family that paved the way for the Renaissance in Emilia Romagna. You will then proceed with a visit to the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral, passing through the courtyard of honour of the Palazzo Marchionale, and on to the Castello Estense. The visit concludes with the picturesque Via delle Volte and the Jewish ghetto.
