Overview

Angels Landing is one of the most famous hikes in the world. As such, the National Park Service has implemented a permit programme to limit the number of hikers allowed on the trail each day. This tour includes permits, as well as an experienced guide with knowledge of Zion National park, its history, flora, fauna, and geology.

Activity itinerary

West Rim Trail

The West Rim Trail is the paved trail leading to the beginning of Scouts Lookout. Though we will only use the main 2-mile stretch, the trail continues 14 miles into the Zion Wilderness.
Scout Lookout
  • 30m
The lookout shows a towering view of the Virgin River below, and a cross canyon view of Cable Mountain. We will rest here prior to beginning our ascent up Angels Landing. Compost toilets are available for use.
Angel's Landing
  • 1h 30m
The incredible Angels Landing tour in on the National Register of Historic Places. This trail features towering views, steep drop-offs, and light scrambling. Hikers who are fearful of heights should not attempt this hike.
