Discover the dreamy, romantic Neckar Valley, the impressive Dilsberg Fortress, and the charming, historic small towns in a very small group of a maximum of 6 participants. Enjoy a guided hiking tour to the highest mountain in the Odenwald, descend from Hirschhorn Castle into the picturesque old town, and immerse yourself in fascinating legends.
Your day starts in a comfortable, air-conditioned van from one of the pick-up points. We explore the Old Town of Neckargemünd, which is beautifully situated in the Neckar Valley, through ancient alleys and past historic half-timbered houses.
Visit with us the remains of the Dilsberg castle fortress with its myths and legends and learn about the tragic love storey that once took place here.
Further along the Neckar, you will visit another jewel of the Neckar Valley: Eberbach. During your lunch break, you can try the famous Viktoria von Eberbach cake here, which even delighted Queen Elizabeth.
Now it's time to lace up your hiking boots – we will climb the eroded crater of an extinct volcano on the highest mountain in the Odenwald and explore its fascinating surroundings and exciting history.
After a short breather in the van, we'll get active again and visit the southernmost castle in Hesse, which towers high above the Neckar, and enjoy the fantastic view. From here, our path leads down with panoramic views to one of the oldest and most tranquil towns in the Neckar Valley.
At the end of this eventful and exciting day, you will have plenty of great photos and memories.
