The historic boats were revamped with great attention to detail and fitted with comfortable furniture that leaves nothing to be desired. They now await your booking for events of all kinds! Each boat can accommodate up to 12 guests. A boat ride on one of our 100-year-old boats in the very heart of Heidelberg is a truly unforgettable experience. If you are a larger group, you can book two boats at the same time, which will glide through the water side by side, so that the entire group can stay in contact. We glide through the water at a relaxing speed of 6 kmh, so you can sit back and discover the beauty of Heidelberg at the same time.

The tour in details: The tour leads you, starting from the Kongresshaus, past the Neckarstaden and the Marstall upstream through the Alte Brücke towards Neckarmünzplatz. En route, you will have a stunning, clear view of the castle, the Old Bridge, the funicular railway and the Hackteufel. On the way down the river, we will drive on the Neuenheimer side past villas steeped in history and famous filming locations such as the “Hotel Heidelberg”. We also cover the more urban side of Heidelberg on our tour, as we glide downstream along the green meadow of the Neuenheimer Neckarwiese in the direction of the Ernst Walz Bridge. This is where skaters, graffiti artists and the young people of Heidelberg meet. During our tour, we will also see Heidelberg’s very own Love Island, the small island in the middle of the Neckar River, up close. We will then pass the thermal bath, the headquarters of Heidelberg Materials (formerly Heidelberg Cement), historic hospital buildings, the Kurfürst-Friedrich-Gymnasium and enjoy a clear view of many other places worth seeing from the water!
