What you can expect

  • Take in the sights and smells of Hoi An by night in this authentic experience. Ride on a boat on the river and take part in a ritual as you release your lantern into the night.
When a flower lantern is lit, it is like a prayer for luck and peace, bringing good health and fortune to you and your loved ones.
The light of the lanterns is the light of hope. Lighted lanterns send prayers and remove all worries. The person who releases the lamp therefore feels at ease. Whether they are adults or children, they are all excited and eager to release the lanterns. A flower lantern dropped on the river drifts to the sea, giving wings to dreams of flying high and far away.

    • One boat can share 1-5 people
    • Duration on boat: 15 minutes
    • 19:00 to 20:00 is peak time. Customers booking during this time frame will need to wait in line to board the boat.
    • Please go to the meeting point and provide your name. Our greeter will take you to the dock to board a wooden boat.
