Upon arrival in Labuan Jambu, check in to your hotel and rest before the early morning activity.
Whale Shark Adventure
At around 4:00 AM, depart by a traditional wooden Begog boat towards the local fishing platforms (bagang), where whale sharks are often seen. The boat ride takes about 1 hour.
Snorkelling usually takes place around 6:00–7:00 AM, depending on sea conditions. After snorkelling, enjoy a simple breakfast on the boat with coffee, tea, bread, and fruit, then return to shore.
Special Wildlife Experience
This is a Special Wildlife Experience for travellers who enjoy nature and wildlife. Whale sharks are wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. Their presence depends on food availability, tides, currents, weather, and sea conditions.
Every trip can be different. Sometimes guests enjoy a close encounter, while on other days whale sharks may appear briefly, stay far from the boat, or may not be seen at all.
Based on our experience, the estimated chance of encountering whale sharks is approximately 80–90%, but this is not guaranteed.
We recommend this tour for travellers who understand that wildlife encounters are unpredictable and who value the entire journey, nature, local culture, and adventure—not only seeing whale sharks.
If whale sharks are not found, the tour will continue as planned and no refund or compensation will be provided, as wildlife sightings are beyond the operator’s control.
