What's included, what's not

The activity includes full supervision by a qualified guide who is passionate about the region and the nature of the Ardennes. Equipment can be provided to make your hike more comfortable, including trekking poles (subject to availability). You will be provided with an information sheet or booklet to help you better understand the points of interest along the way. Souvenir photos will be taken during the experience and sent to you after the hike. As a keepsake, each participant will also receive a symbolic “Randonneur des Crêtes” (Ridger Hiker) certificate, which will be sent by email after the activity.
Transport to the hike’s starting point is not included and is the responsibility of the participants. No meals or snacks are provided during the activity, so please remember to bring something to drink and a snack if needed. Personal insurance is not included in the price, so it is recommended that you have coverage for outdoor sports activities. We do not provide rental hiking clothing or shoes, so please make sure you come equipped for the weather conditions.

What you can expect

We will start the hike from a meeting point accessible by car, where you will be welcomed by your certified guide. After a short briefing on the route and safety instructions, we will begin our gradual ascent of the Meuse ridges.

The trail winds through forests and rocky passages, offering several breaks at the most beautiful panoramic viewpoints over the Meuse Valley. Your guide will introduce you to the local flora and fauna and share stories about the natural and human history of the area.

A snack break is planned halfway through the hike, in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. The return journey takes a different route, equally untamed, to complete a full loop.

This trek takes around 4 hours and covers about 12 kilometres (7.5 miles), at a pace that is manageable for anyone in reasonably good physical condition. The route can be adapted based on the group's fitness level and the weather.
