The 13 km downhill route takes us through lost places such as Laguna Escondida. The terrain is gentle and wide with slopes that take us on steady descents. Along the way we can see some great views of El Calafate, Lago Argentino and Cerro Fitz Roy.

Our excursion begins when we pick you up at the hotels in El Calafate. Once ready we will begin our ascent to the start of the circuit, at about 950 metres above sea level. Here we will be met by our guide who will give us a brief safety briefing along with some stretching and warm-up exercises, while making the necessary adjustments to the technical equipment we will be using.

During our tour we will make some stops to tell you interesting facts about the place, and also to check the equipment and condition of each of the participants. Once we finish descending the hill, we will continue through the urban area until we reach our meeting point in the centre of El Calafate, where the excursion will end.
