Not the classic tour of the island of Ischia with the most beautiful panoramic stops and the journey of the whole island of Ischia, but a tour designed to deepen in two fundamental stages this “UNIQUE” experience of your day dedicated to the island of Ischia, or the visit of our Botanical Garden La Mortella, the most famous in Italy and one of the most beautiful in Europe, and lunch in one of the most magical and traditional places of our Ischian culinary culture. All accompanied by an expert guide who will be able to make the idea of the island of Ischia well in a few hours of Tour, along the most touristic and famous coast of the island of Ischia.
The first stop will be at the foot of the Aragonese Castle, then visit the La Mortella Gardens (admission fee € .12.00 per pax), the tour then continues with the passage to the Church of Soccorso di Forio, and continues to La Baia di Sorgeto where there will be lunch at km 0 with typical products of the Ischian culinary culture. Lunch in a wonderful cellar of 700 ', inside an important and famous farm of the place, there will be the opportunity to delight our palate with the original flavours of our culinary tradition of Ischia, with genuine products and km 0, eat our rabbit Ischia cooked and served in a terracotta pan, or a salad (farmer's) and many other specialities, in a truly extraordinary location and surrounded by vegetation and a step from the sea, an extraordinary location and to see and absolutely live it!
Giardini La Mortella

In 1956 Lady Walton called on the famous landscape architect Russell Page to design the original layout of the garden integrating it among the picturesque rock formations of volcanic origin. La Mortella is divided into two parts: a lower garden, in the Valley, and an upper garden on the Hill terraced with dry stone walls. It covers an area of about 2 hectares and houses a vast collection of exotic and rare plants, is enriched by fountains, swimming pools, waterways that allow the cultivation of a superb collection of aquatic plants such as papyrus, lotus and tropical water lilies. The various areas of the garden are connected with avenues, paths, dry stone walls, ramps and stairs, in the highest area you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay of Forio. In the garden there are three tropical greenhouses, to see the Temple of the Sun, the other points of interest are the Thai Room, the Crocodile Waterfall and the rock of Sir Williams where the composer's ashes are kept.
