Explore a heritage trail in the Alta Rocca on a panoramic sunset hike beginning in Serra-di-Scopamène. Learn about the region’s history and chestnut trees, try local snacks with wine, and enjoy a private tour for just you and your group.

Meet your guide at the trailhead, then leave the village behind as you hike upward. Find out about the exceptional olive oil and flour produced from the local chestnut trees as you go.

Cross a magnificent forest of holm oaks covered lichen to discover ancient coal mines and the remains of small houses dating from the Bronze Age. Upon arrival at the summit, take in panoramic views of the region down to the sea as the setting sun colours the Needles of Bavella.

Taste a platter of local seasonal products, including charcuterie, cheese, fruits, and wine. Afterwards, descend via a lighter route with a rolling path to the village. Look out for the donkeys that might greet you once you arrive at the end of the hike.
