Get on board your handcrafted 30ft bamboo raft as your experienced guide navigates the soothing waters of the White River. Enjoy the kisses of the warm Caribbean sun and the gentle caress of the cool island breeze, while your guide gives you an intimate break down of the island’s rich culture and heritage. Half throughout your rafting experience enjoy an amazing limestone foot massage administered by your raft captain.

Your Horseback ride and swim commences from a beautiful private beach. You’re then taken through scenic countryside, passing the tranquil farmlands of the locals living close by. The trail ride takes you back to the beach where guests are given the opportunity to swim bareback with the horse in the magnificent Caribbean Sea.

Your adventure begins when you saddle up for the original horseback ride and swim! You will see spectacular views of cliff sides and the Caribbean Sea. On the private beach, experience an unparalleled, exhilarating ride through the warm Caribbean waters. No experience is needed! The well-trained horses and attentive guides will ensure you enjoy the best horseback riding Jamaica has to offer! You’ll learn about Montego Bay, considered to be Jamaica’s “Second City” and the capital of its tourism industry. Bamboo rafting is the island’s #1 rafting attraction is located approximately twenty miles from Montego Bay and forty miles from Ocho Rios. The embarkation area, “Rafter’s Village”, encompasses six acres of beautifully manicured lawns situated on a natural horseshoe island. It offers a fully appointed recreational facility which includes picnic grounds, a full service bar, two souvenir shops, swimming pool and modern bathrooms. Before embarking on the tour, guests can also take a stroll through “Miss Martha’s Herb Garden”, a presentation of Jamaica’s herbs famous for their medicinal and healing properties. Established more than forty years ago, Rafting on the Martha Brae boasts a complement of eighty five licensed and experienced raft captains. Thirty-foot long bamboo rafts are boarded from a concrete pier, under the supervision of a licensed dispatcher. The raft ride is operated over a three mile stretch of the beautiful Martha Brae River and lasts approximately one hour.
