Create your own traditional Japanese katazome textile during a private cultural experience in Fuji City, just 20 minutes from Shin-Fuji Station. Return transport from Shin-Fuji Station is included, allowing you to relax and enjoy an authentic Japanese craft experience without worrying about local transport. Meet your English-speaking guide at Shin-Fuji Station before travelling to the workshop. Learn the traditional art of katazome from a local member of the Fuji Katazome Group, while your guide provides English interpretation and support throughout the experience. Choose from a selection of traditional designs and apply colours by hand using brushes to create your own textile artwork. During the finishing process, enjoy a Japanese bento lunch and green tea before completing the final rinsing and finishing steps to reveal your unique handcrafted creation. Take your finished artwork home the same day as a meaningful souvenir from Japan. This private experience accommodates up to four participants and includes return transport, English interpretation, a Japanese bento lunch, and digital photos taken by your guide.
