What you can expect
Take a break from the bustle of Vancouver with an outing along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Corridor that takes you right into the mountains. A round-trip shuttle service carries you straight from downtown, and a gondola ride shows off the peaks and forested valleys of the Lillooet Country.
Start with a ride in the Squamish Connector, a comfortable 24-seat shuttle that carries you out along Highway 99 to reach the base of the gondola. Here, you can get in the specially built cabin for a ride that carries you more than 2,900 feet (885 metre) above sea level, giving you 10 full minutes of incredible aerial sightseeing as you ascend towards the summit.
Each gondola is equipped with padded seats that offer room for up to 8 passengers, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows give you a terrific view that stretches from the Squamish Chief climbing area to Shannon Falls. Once you reach the summit, you can check out the interpretive loop walking trails, admire the scenery from cantilevered viewing platforms, and cross the breath-taking Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge before you return to the gondola and descend for your ride back to the city.
