Description

Step right into a postcard as you skip the line to visit 2 of New York City's most iconic landmarks. From the sky-high vantage point at the top of the Empire State Building to a mid-river perspective of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, soak up both spectacular experiences over a span of 2 memorable days.

Arrive at the historic Empire State Building and step into the Art Deco glamour of the lobby. Built during the Great Depression in just 410 days, this classic skyscraper was the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years. Ride the lift from ground level up to the 86th floor, and make your way onto the observation deck. From 1,050 feet (320 metre) above the hustle and bustle of midtown, take in 360-degree panoramas that include city sights like Central Park, Times Square, and—on a clear day—5 neighbouring states.

Then, head down to sea-level and climb on board a spacious vessel for a scenic cruise on New York Harbour. Soak up the sweeping vistas of the Manhattan skyline—the view is even more impressive from the water—and have your camera ready as you sail towards Lady Liberty herself. Circle the 151-foot (46-metre) statue—a beacon of hope and opportunity for millions of immigrants throughout the history of the United States—for an unforgettable, up-close look at this symbol of freedom.

The tour was excellent. All the history of the major parts of the city new and old were told and we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip

Oh, where to begin...I bought 2 passes for January 1 because we wanted to see the statue of liberty and they were the only ones open on New year's day. We took an Uber to the empire State building to get our tickets (be sure to print your vouchers from Expedia), then after about 45 minutes there we took another Uber to pier 83 for the cruise at 4:30pm. We arrived at the pier at 3:40 only to find out that the last boat went out at 3:30. So we missed it because this site says the last boat leaves at 4:30. By then we missed the empire State building tour. So, I spent $140 for nothing since that was the last day we were there. Expedia, please take note and update this site: the last boat leaves at 3:30. Fantastic river cruise with amazing views of the Statue of Liberty. The commentary whilst on the boat from the captain is extremely informative and entertaining. Highly recommended
