  • Please Note During holy week ( April 17 – 21, 2019) we do not pick up on hotels, you will be request to move to our meeting point where we will pick up you.   • Minimum of 2 passengers (adults) is required for the tour to run. If the minimum size is not reached, the tour is subject to cancellation and all tickets are refunded or rescheduled.

What you can expect

Explore Guatemala's main attraction with a local guide on this adventure to the ancient Mayan settlement of Tikal. Stretching over 222 square miles (575 km), this UNESCO World Heritage Site is as significant as it is photogenic.

You will be picked up at your hotel in Guatemala City early in the morning and transfer to Guatemala International Airport - La Aurora, to take your flight to Flores.

Upon arrival at Mundo Maya Airport you will be meet your local guide an expert in the área and be transfer to Tikal archaeological site sometimes yor transfer will be via Island of Flores.

The local guide leads you to Tikal's famous landmarks such as Plaza Mayor and the Central Acropolis. Then, continue to the South Acropolis, Plaza of the Seven Temples, and the Lost World complex. As you walk around the massive site, snap memorable photos of the mysterious Mayan ruins. Take time to marvel at the renowned structures, most of which are more than 10 centuries old.

Tucked deep in the jungle, this ancient town is also famous for its tropical flora and fauna. If you are lucky, you might spot howler monkeys, toucans, or nosy coatis.

At the end of our adventure through the jungle we will have time for lunch (Included).

We will return to Mundo Maya Airport in Flores to take our flight back to Guatemala City.

Upon arrival in Guatemala City, you will be transfer to your hotel in Guatemala City.
