Acueduct of Segovia

It is one of the most recognisable symbols of the city. This ancient Roman aqueduct is impressive and is in very good condition. It is an impressive testimony of Roman architecture and a must-see in Segovia. We will learn about its history, its legends, its legacies, reconstructions and secrets of the Segovia Aqueduct of more than 2,000 years.

Monumento a Juan Bravo

The current Corpus Christi church was the old Main Synagogue of Segovia. The exact date of construction is unknown, but recent studies suggest that it was around the 14th century. This is the Synagogue that is best preserved of the five that the Segovian Aljama had, it is thought that due to its conversion to Christianity in 1410. Inside we can find the architecture typical of Jewish culture and the decoration typical of its later Christian use. It has a prayer room divided into three naves, separated by horseshoe arches and octagonal pillars topped with pineapple and scroll capitals. Above the side naves there is a continuous gallery composed of horseshoe arches interspersed with pentalobed arches whose intradoses are decorated with palmettes.
La Juderia

La Granja de San Ildefonso (Pass by)
Participants will have the option of walking through the gardens of La Granja with the guide. Participants who wish may also visit the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso on their own. La Granja de San Ildefonso is a historic royal palace and gardens built in the 18th century. It was used as a summer residence by the Spanish monarchs. The complex consists of a magnificent palace, beautiful gardens and spectacular fountains. The gardens of La Granja are famous for their geometric design and spectacular fountains. The gardens feature numerous sculptures, statues and tree-lined walks, creating a majestic and serene atmosphere.
