The hotel was great and the rooms great. Breakfast options were pretty limited. We were close to the convention center but everything else was a little far considering the weather was really cold

Our stay here was terrible. I cant sugar coat it. Expedia lists the hotel as dog friendly with no pet fees - which is why I booked it. I even CALLED the hotel to verify and was told the same by their staff. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk informed that there would be a $50 pet fee that she needed a card for. I explained that I had called and then booked their hotel specifically because there was no pet fee and I would like to speak to a manager. The manager then told me they'd changed their policy in August and "didnt know who told me that" and that it could not be waived. He wasnt the least bit apologetic, didn't try at all to make us content as customers and frankly could have cared less. He told me "I should call Expedia and tell them to update their site". What?? We then went up to the room which is cheaply decorated and very sparce. There was ONE bottle of water placed on the shelf (in a double queen roomtwo guests registered). I went down to the front desk to ask for another water and was told they didnt have anymore to give and that I "could buy more" if needed. To add insult to injury - the room temperature had absolutely no regulation despite repeatedly getting up in the middle of the night to adjust it. It is either way too hot or way too cold and the system is LOUD. The mattresses and bed linens are cheap. We ended up packing up and leaving at 4:30 a.m. because we simply couldnt sleep there. The experience was awful. Too many other good places to go
