Can’t beat the price and location
Highly recommend Deja Resort for anyone travelling to Montego Bay - especially if it’s your first time. You can’t beat the price and location and free access to Doctor’s Cave beach directly across the road. The food was delicious, the drinks were very generously poured and the staff were lovely. Santia made breakfast so warm and inviting each day and Shantalee made us feel welcomed from the moment she checked us in. Right on the hip strip for all your shopping needs and only a 5 minute walk to Margaritaville and Marguerite’s restaurant if you felt like splashing out. Chukka tour office also located in reception if you wanted to book activities.

The staff was super nice, but the service was TERRIBLE!!!!!! It took all day and night just to receive face towels, sheets, and tissue. I had to find a cart myself and take the stuff i needed. The cook on the 1st floor had an attitude the whole time and lied and said he was out of burgers so he didn't have to cook us anything.

There are times u can and cannot eat. Open bar but the lounge is empty and bartender has to do other duties as well. Old building. Barely stayed on resort the food was NOT good ! Food was bland. Fruit didn’t look fresh. Overrated !

I feel like this is the review that a lot of people needed to see before they came, and subsequently wrote bad reviews… if you’re looking for a fancy all inclusive where you don’t leave the resort and you’re interested in large buffets and constant entertainment, this isn’t the place for you!!! BUT, if you’re looking for an all inclusive with great food, UNBELIEVABLE and EXTREMELY friendly/helpful staff who make you feel like family, with the ability to come and go as you please easily…. This is your spot! We have stayed at some of the bigger all inclusive before, and while they’re beautiful, we felt trapped and honestly extremely bored. The Deja allows you to roam a little bit more freely with a beautiful beach across the street (bring snorkel gear, we watched hundreds of tourists get off pricey boats to snorkel right out front of the beach, so we swam and saw the reefs for free!), a CLEAN pool (something we did not find at the big resorts), and is right in the heart of the hip strip. We didn’t feel guilty going off resort and spending money on some different meals here and there because the Deja really makes you feel like you hit the jackpot in a hotel! We left feeling like we were leaving family, and we will most certainly be back!

room was not comfortable to stay in, a lot of amenities did not work, had a roach in my room, the shower dripped all night, the lamps did not give the room enough light, the parking was atrocious and frustrating, the bed sheets were uncomfortable and the room was lacking a lot of basic necessities, i was not satisfied
