Panama City Beach stay
Hotel was clean. Easy free parking. Desk clerk was in breakfast area when i arrived. Several minutes later she finally noticed me, and said, can i help you? I replied, I would like to check in. I handed her my drivers license, and she gave me somebodies else paperwork to fill out. I said, this isnt me. She asked me my name again, and finally found the right paperwork. In the meantime, 3 others came in to check in. One would think reading my license as she did would have avoid this delay.

Booked this hotel because it said it was pet friendly, when I went to check in. Was told I couldn’t have a dog in that room I picked. Was told I would have to take another room, ask if I could get a price adjustment and was told no, you booked through a third party so they couldn’t adjust price. The room I booked was the most expensive. Told her I stayed at the other La Quita in town and had that room and was told we’re not affiliated. Also it does not mention when you book through Expedia you can’t have pet in that room. She said she would only charge me for one dogs stay, but I couldn’t verify that because the told me they couldn’t give me a receipt when we checked out. I wasn’t very happy with the stay, carpets in halls have stains, and our room wasn’t very clean, floors were filthy, not even vacuumed. Coffee at breakfast was so light it was just tan hot water. Now I realize why the price was so cheap.

The hotel was clean and the kids really enjoyed the breakfast. On our second day there, we had a very negative experience with the lady at the front desk. She was incredibly and unnecessarily rude. That definitely tarnished our stay.
