Spa Time
This was a trip before Christmas with a group of friends to this resort. Firstly I just want to explain that unfortunately the pools boiler had issues the before arrival and so the pool was a lot cooler than normal and we received so conflicting information that said we were compensated with no issue so I have not marked this resort down as we were able to enjoy the pool. So moving on this time of year is a little quieter from hotel guests so it was quite but as such the service from everyone was sublime and in some cases above and beyond. As we were a group of 8 and like to play some cards we were allowed to use the conference room which was so nice of the staff. The restaurant was great the service can only be described as perfect and the manager of the restaurant was so great. Food was good for the price and there was a range of dishes for us to enjoy over our time there for all meal times. The location is scenic and remote so my idea of a retreat, note that this time of year there’s not much open in Manitou Beach, an art gallery is the only place I saw other than travelling to Watrous (5-10 minutes in a car). The hosts on the front desk and spa are the brilliant, engaging, funny and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we spent minimal time in them but they had internet, tv, fridge and a safe so everything you need! We will be back!

For the most part it is a nice place friendly staff, food at the restaurant is expand the service there great. The pool area wasn’t real inviting needs some upgrades and repairs cement missing on the floor of the pool in some places, some of the deck around the pool was green could be a little more cheery in that area.

Overall good But
Everything was pretty good overall. One major concern we had was our shower in our room #411 wouldn’t work. They told us to pull hard on the knob which gave us a trickle of water. If I had pulled any harder I’d have pulled it off the wall. Our booking says queen beds not doubles.
