My husband and I were very happy with our overnight at Hampton Inn. A swimming pool is important to us and theirs is lovely. The other attraction for us is the nice buffet breakfast! The only improvement I'd suggest is for them to provide terry cloth robes, as does one of their competitors in Salem, and I wish they didn't charge $25 for overnight parking. Their competitor doesn't charge for parking. Still, we are repeat customers at Hampton because of the breakfast!

PET FEE EXTORTION
Watch for the crazy pet fee. 75 bucks that they didn’t mention until after I was checked in. Then refused to cancel my check in immediately (like I never left the desk immediately). Counter guy was rude. Checked out immediately after checking in. Principal of A 75 pet fee. Never again will a Hampden inn or any Hilton owned property. HH membership canceled, Amex HIlton rewards card cancelled. Pet fee extortion is unacceptable.
