The resort was very beautifully maintained had very nice dining options. I can't say enough about the staff...each of them were extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting places to and eat in Curacao. Having the resort right next to Mambo beach has its positives (shopping, more restaurants, bars, etc.) and it's drawbacks (clubs open until 3 with extremely loud music until 2 AM). Our room was right on the border of Lions Dive and Mambo beach which meant no sleep until after 2 AM for half of the week due to the clubs at Mambo. I would recommend staying at Lions Den, but would make sure you ask for a room on the opposite side of the resort, near Hemmingway's restaurant unless you plan to be out partying until 3 AM.

A stay at LionsDive
The weather, beaches, and service at LionsDive were great! Unfortunately, I found the food to be subpar. I tried all the restaurants, except Nemo, more than once and was not pleased. If you're going for the food, I'd go elsewhere. If you're going for the beaches and service, it's a nice place to be.

We stayed at the Lionsdive in 2023 and had a wonderful time. We decided to come back in 2024 since it was so great. The location next to Mambo Beach is great for food and drinks. The beach and pool are also great. The big downfall in 2024 is the level of noise. They are doing construction which starts at 7:45 am in the morning. In addition to the construction, we were woke up at 5:30 am for a gas powered fogger for bug control and tree trimming at 7:30 on a Sunday. We tried to change rooms but the other rooms lacked a view. The manager never came out of their office to speak to us. Instead they gave us a free breakfast for 2 (we are a family of 4) and a cheap bottle of wine for our troubles. I would look to stay in a different place or verify that your room is not near the construction

Although the property offers many rooms, it felt like a boutique hotel. We had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. The rooms are pretty basic including a small fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Almost all rooms have a shared balcony. We went with another couple and both rooms had two beds, no King. We were very pleased with the welcome gift of sparkling wine, a lovely beach bag and 2 refillable water bottles. We used the last two items all of time. We are at 3 of the restaurants and especially enjoyed the pizza/pasta one and Nemoā€™s. Hemingways was fine for breakfast, although no a la carte option. The hotel is right on Mambo Beach which makes it convenient for swimming or visiting the many shops, (Kuki Coffee Shop šŸ˜‹ ) and restaurants in the area. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island.
