Great staff and a clean hotel in a quieter area of HaLong Bay. You get the true feeling of how locals go on about their daily lives with easy access to food and convenience stores. Great free breakfast options as well.

Halong Royal Palace Cruise
This cruise was nice, the area though is packed with other boats so not very secluded. The room (Royal Suite) was lovely with great views. The restaurant staff were the best

Catba View Hotel
The staff was wonderful and the location was great near Cat Ba town center. Good breakfast. View is a bit of an overstatement though.

Tung Quang hotel
Room was clean, front desk was cheerful. She was able to help organizing a taxi, renting scooters. Location was superb, beautiful large windows that opened. Breakfast was average.
