I will be upfront since the owners claim they aren’t hiding the real cleaning cost, but the certainly aren’t advertising it. The real cleaning fee is 125. There is a fee hidden in the rental agreement. The “option” mentioned in the listing is for if you don’t change and re-apply your linen, make the bed (so obviously it’s 50/50 on if the linen is actually clean, as clearly the owners don’t want to do it. They also would like you to wash and put away any glassware (again
is this actually happening?) and take out the trash (which is normal) you also have to put all used items in the wash. Had I know that besides the 75 fee you are immediately charged, when you walk in to the unlocked cabin, there is a big sign informing you of the extra 50. Had this been on the description, that I would be charged 2 fees, I would have stayed somewhere that didn’t. Also fair warning, the hot tub sucks, and the the bathroom has a light yet constant urine/porta potty smell-particularly after a shower.

The view in January was fantastic. The last bit of road up to the cabin is narrow with a hairpin turn to get in the driveway. I wouldn't recommend driving your Dually up here. My Sorento did just fine. It is steep. All the essentials for bathing, cooking, cleaning up were convenient. The linens were a little confusing when we made the beds as far as what sheets they want where. It was worth it to get the discount, though. Easy check in and check out. Love, love, LOVED! having the hot tub for relaxing and enjoying the views. Fireplace was easy gas logs once you find the knobs lower front center. Great ambience! Thanks for a great open space and 2 bedrooms, accommodations for pets is a nice touch. (We had NO pets). I think my friend used a water dish for her salsa, lol! Good times.

This is our second stay at Wild Rock. The cabin is perfect for what we need. The kitchen is well stocked, we enjoy the fireplace and the hot tub. It seems a little less private with the completion of the large home below. But, still private enough. The cabin is close enough to several towns. We spent time in Brevard, Hendersonville, Etowah and even drove to Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Dillsboro. (Last year we went to Greenville, SC also). We visited a few waterfalls...Looking Glass, Hooker Falls, Triple Falls and High Falls. The owner is very responsive to questions. I love that the cleaning fees for the property are reasonable as compared to other places I've seen. And, I love that the owners give you the option of a lower fee by doing just a fee simple things before you leave...things I'd do anyway for the most part.

Perfect little cottage, great for a weekend getaway in the mountains! Close to brevard, Hendersonville and hiking. Great hot tub and nice deck with gate for our dogs. Would absolutely recommend Wild Rock Cottage.

Love the location! It was so quiet and peaceful, and we saw a white squirrel. It is nice to stay between Hendersonville and Brevard. We were able to visit both towns and the farms and produce stands between them. The house is comfortable and spacious. Living room furniture needs updating, but that’s my only complaint.

Beautiful and cozy home with a great ambiance! We loved staying here. The hot tub was such a bonus! Everything was perfect with the home! Unfortunately, while we were in town we thought ubering would be possible since rental cars were pretty pricey. Don’t be like us! Spend the money on a rental and avoid the headache! We ended up paying a busboy at 185 king street to get back to the house haha Everything else was perfect!
