"Ben was an amazing host. He wanted our family to have a great vacation and offered his time and local knowledge to make that happen. The house was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and private. The 8-10 minute walk to the beach on the boardwalk through the mangroves was a daily delight. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Driving back to Maine after our arrival back in Boston, my son asked what everyone’s highlight of the trip was. No one was able to come up with a highlight because the entire trip was exceptional!"

"This resort exceeded our expectations. It was quiet, smaller than other resorts we’ve stayed at, had plenty of activities, walkable to the nearby marina and shops, and the service was amazing. We walked to other restaurants in the area, which were fantastic. The swim-up bar was a huge bonus as we spent so many hours in the pool. The beach was pristine and gorgeous. The most beautiful beach and picturesque sunset I’ve ever seen. The beach vendors were kind and did not bother. Food at the restaurants was good but not great. Traveling with a small child, we weren’t looking for the highest quality food anyway. We utilized the in room childcare - Alejandra was so sweet and kind. The massage and facial we received at the spa were relaxing and just what we needed. Service at the restaurants was good, but it was very slow at 5 o’clock somewhere during lunchtime. The only real complaint I had was the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bedding in general seemed not to fit the mattress as it kept coming off. Other than that, we had an excellent stay and plan to return again in the summer. "

"What a beautiful hidden gem this is! Ben is the most gracious and kind host you could ever wish for who truly delights in his guests’ happiness. He has an amazing lush and serene property that is walking distance from a stunning soft sand beach with consistent waves for all to enjoy. The house was lovely. It is a mix of a rustic experience with touches of luxury sprinkled throughout. It is clear that Ben takes pride in his property. Enough outdoor hammocks for each of us, incredible stone bathroom, a/c units in the bedrooms for a cool night of sleep. The area is lovely. People with carts selling snow cones on the beach, a mix of upscale and typical restaurants with a relaxed feel throughout. We hope to return one day. "
