Spacious hotel style suite, (in our home) the newly rebuilt Batteaux Schoolhouse. You can enjoy your own private entrance and space. Brand new queen bed, large TV, leather love seat that reclines. Mini fridge, toaster and a coffee maker. Maximum of two people as we are on a septic system. Parking on the property and private entrance.

Cute studio!

We stayed for one night when in Collingwood for a visit to the Scandinave Spa. The studio was immaculately clean and host was very responsive. Convenient to Collingwood downtown. Giving a 4/5 because photos a bit misleading as doesn't show that schoolhouse is actually connected to a house.

Peaceful & Welcoming Escape

Diane and her husband’s renovated schoolhouse is so beautiful. It was everything advertised and more! I highly recommend staying here. Diane sent us recommendations of activities in the area as well as detailed instructions for check in/out. Highly recommend!

Schoolhouse gem!

The property was absolutely fantastic. So unique, beautifully maintained, and very easy to access! The hosts were lovely and sent us a detailed message ahead of our arrival, as well as including helpful notes on everything we could need in info cards. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Little Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The place was super clean and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive and even left us a thoughtful treat. Further, the location is just a short drive away from everything the area has to offer (Beach, Mountain, coffee shops, etc...). A quiet night away

This was exactly what we needed. We have a 20 month old, and we haven't had a night to ourselves since he was born. It was so quiet, we slept in until 8am! Diane knew it was my husband's birthday, and left us a little treat. So sweet. We'll definitely be back, and will recommend to the out of towners visiting us!

Dance mom stay!

My daughter and I were there for a dance competition. The location was beautiful and close to many amenities! The accommodations were wonderful very clean, very nice! All instructions from Diane were clear and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again!

Mini Winter Vaca

Our Experience

Such a neat place with a really great story. As soon as we pulled into the driveway we were grinning from ear to ear. We knew we had made the best decision booking this spot. As we walked in we felt completely at home and enjoyed the new and clean space. It is a short distance from everything from shopping, dinning, and the spa. What a treat!
