Escape to Hog Mountain Chalet, a private, fully renovated Catskills retreat near Margaretville and Phoenicia. Set on a peaceful property with a pond and sweeping mountain views, it’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

Just 7 miles from Belleayre Mountain, the chalet is ideal for skiing, hiking weekends, relaxing mountain escapes, and guests attending local weddings and events throughout Fleischmanns, Margaretville, Phoenicia, and Roxbury.

The home features a modern kitchen, two renovated full bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi tub), and comfortable bedrooms designed for rest after a day in the mountains. Both the primary and second bedrooms open directly onto the deck through sliding glass doors, and all three bedrooms include electric fireplaces for extra warmth and comfort during cooler months.

Outside, enjoy the large deck with mountain views, a 6-person hot tub, and a spacious fire pit area — perfect for evenings under the stars. Inside, the living room features a wood-burning fireplace, creating a cozy place to unwind after skiing, hiking nearby trails, enjoying fall foliage, or exploring the Catskills.

The home sits on a private wooded property with a pond and is surrounded by nature, so occasional wildlife sightings are possible.

The home is a short drive to Belleayre ski resort and also not far from Plattekill. We enjoyed both the convenience of the location for skiing along with the quiet, peaceful area of Fleischmanns. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and we appreciated the comfortable beds and linens which are provided. Check in and check out is easy and the owner is available for any questions. We had a great time and would recommend this home!

Host is very attentive. Unfortunately the house is not wired and hotspot didn’t work most of our stay which impacted the stay. Pictures match and there’s plenty of space for a family to spread out. Quick ten min ride to Belleayre.

Great for weekend getaway

We loved our recent stay at the house. Easy check in/out process, close to Belleayer mountain and good restaurants. The house is clean and cozy, and the kids loved the board games. We will be coming back again!
