Copeland Cabin - Charming Lake House in the Adirondacks

Make yourself at home in this lovely 4-bedroom lakefront retreat! This cozy house on beautiful Copeland Pond has a stunning lake view from both floors of the house and is perfect for families, groups of friends, or a romantic get-away. You will have your own private lake front with kayaks, a canoe, trampoline, and row boat. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, hiking or just relaxing during the day, and barbeque or sit around the fire in Adirondack chairs in the evening. The lake is perfect for swimming and fishing in the summer, ice skating, cross country skiing and snow-shoeing in the winter.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms (one with two bunk beds) and two full baths. Conveniences include (good) WiFi, air conditioning, and a washer and dryer.

While the location is private and serene, the house is only minutes from local attractions such as Lake George, many fantastic hiking options for all levels, world class cross-country ski trails and bike trails, golf courses, mini-golf, go-carts, outlets, the Great Escape (and several other fun parks), restaurants, farmers markets, distilleries, a winery, and more.

You're sure to make fantastic memories. It is a truly special place.

Wonderful ADK vacation home

I highly recommend staying at the Copeland Cabin. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Coffee is supplied (Cafe Bustelo and Starbucks k cups and Cafe Bustelo ground coffee for pot). Cabin was very clean. Very soft/large towels. Great location, very quiet and peaceful. Loved having paddle boards, canoe, kayaks and a giant anchored tube for use. The dock was well maintained. Hope to come back.

The perfect weekend getaway

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Catherine’s place on Copeland Pond and couldn’t have had a better experience. There was something for everyone between canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, trampoline jumping and sun basking. Even the dog had the best time and was fully tuckered out by the end of the trip. We barely spent any time inside which I think is the mark of a perfect weekend. Thank you for having us! We hope to get back there very soon!

Wonderful cabin!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin to attend my son’s wedding at a local venue. Lisa and Catherine were so easy to work with. The cabin has a wonderful view and was very comfortable. Great place with a great price!

Wedding Weekend Stay

Our daughter got married at Country Meadows which was only a couple miles up the road. The location and closeness is what originally prompted me to book this home. When we arrived, the beauty of the property confirmed that we chose the absolute perfect place to call home for 5 days during the most special time in our lives. I only wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor areas but we were so busy that we didn’t have time. We decided we just have to come back to relax. Thank you for the best stay!!

Tree house on the pond

We had a great time - almost felt like we were living in a tree house - especially sitting on the back deck. The pond is serene but the walk down and back up is quite challenging. The cabin is well located - about a half hour from Lake George and also a half hour from Glens Falls which is worth the trip especially if you are a foodie

Family Vacation

The property was AMAZING! The home is absolutely gorgeous, the decor is perfect. We spent our week having meals on the beautiful deck looking out at the morning sun glimmering on the pond or watching the fireflies light up the trees. Everything you could possibly need is right at the house. We had fire pits at night and kayaked and paddle boarded through the day. We’d swim out to the water the water trampoline and just lay in the sun. The host Karen was wonderful. This was the greatest vacation!

My favorite vacation!

We absolutely LOVED "Cozy Cabin" on Copeland Pond! The place is decorated really cute with an Adirondack flare and is equipped with everything you could possibly need to be as comfortable as home. The deck overlooks the pond and the view is so relaxing. The best part about it for us was Copeland Pond! The dock area was great to hang out to chill and is equipped with all the water boating options you could want. There is a propane fire table as well but we didn't use it b/c the propane was out. But we didn't need it as we were only down there during the day. The water is crystal clear and the temperature was perfect for swimming! The added bonus of the water trampoline allowed us and our kids to be super active. I can't say enough good things about it! It was invigorating to say the least. Karen, our host, is very conscientious and responsive, honestly the best host I've ever had at any rental I've been to. She answered questions on the spot, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the Keurig and she answered immediately. Small on switch on the back, duh! The only thing I will say, for those who may have mobility issues like my mom, the cabin property is fairly steep and it was impossible for her to walk unassisted. Just something to keep in mind. You will get a workout walking back from the pond to the cabin but I loved it! I can't wait to stay there again! Thanks Karen!

Hidden gem

Great house on the pond. We stayed with family of 4 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed the stay - wonderful location and amenities. House is equipped very well: everything we forgot for the kitchen we found in the house. The pond is beautiful - kids and adults had so much fun with trampoline and paddle board and kayaks. The host is very responsive - we always had a response within 15 min. We want to come back.

had a good week

comfortable and well-equipped cabin. good swimming and paddling in the lake... it is a REALLY STEEP walk down to the dock so don't forget anything at the house. Trampoline is fun. While kayaking I saw an enormous fish swimming in the north end near the lily pads, looked like some kind of catfish. At least 2.5ft long. Also plenty of bass and bluegills/ rock bass around. Owner website (not VRBO site) notes upcharge for >4 guests so just be aware of that. Aggressively decorated, appx 116 owls seen inside and outside :) Enjoyed our stay.

My family just returned from an upstate NY vacation. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The property was awesome! The private pond was serene and we took tubes out daily to float in the pond. The highlight of the trip was absolutely the trampoline and kayaks. Karen was an awesome host. Very responsive and helpful throughout the week. We will definitely consider another trip and stay at this charming cabin again!

Location is amazing!

The location and view is amazing from the house! Quiet and serene. It was a perfect getaway to decompress. The water trampoline was great and the boats/kayaks/canoe supplied by the owner was awesome . The fishing was wonderful on the lake and we enjoyed our stay ! The walk to and from the house to the lake is steep so be aware of same. It was good exercise! All is all we were very happy staying here! Thank you!

Wonderful Cabin

Loved our stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything. Great location. We used the canoe, SUPs, kayaks and water trampoline jevery day. The pond has great fishing. We did most of our cooking on the flat top grill and loved having our morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds and watching the chipmunks. Can't wait to go back!!
