Nice place with perfect location…
We were impressed with the property. Very comfortable and nice layout. Within walking distance to shopping and if your a geocacher there are some to find in walking distance.

Potential improvement
It would be great if they put in a half bath on second floor, maybe where the desk in the hall is now. It is a little difficult to get up in the night and have to go downstairs, also the bedroom doors need WD 40 for squeaking. We love the place and this is our 4th visit!!

Convenient location in a cozy setting
Walking distance to LLBean and Freeport shopping areas and 25 min drive to Portland but still felt remote and private. Excellent communication with host, Maranda. House was basic but equipped with everything we needed (host even checked to make sure during our stay) and spotlessly clean.

Great Location
The cottage could not be in a better location for visiting Freeport. It is an incredibly short walk to the downtown area, so much so we almost never drove even with the two kids. It is also a very short drive from the highway and wolfs neck state part. The cottage was the perfect size for us and clean which made the stay enjoyable
